During our hour together, you can expect:
Music & Scripture: Uplifting music and readings that ground us in faith and reflection.
The Sermon: A relevant, heart-centered message to carry with you into the week ahead.
Joys & Concerns: A dedicated time of prayer where we support one another, lifting up the celebrations and challenges on our hearts.
The Benediction: We close our time with a meaningful blessing as we send you back out into the world.
We want you to feel completely at ease, so please wear whatever makes you feel most comfortable!
Our church family is diverse, and you'll see people in everything from casual jeans and boots or summer shorts and flip-flops, to their Sunday finest. We don't have a formal dress code here. Whether you are coming straight from work, headed out on an adventure afterward, or just want to relax, you are always in the right place. Come exactly as you are!
We will never put you on the spot, ask you to stand up, or make you introduce yourself.
You are completely free to slip in quietly, find a seat wherever you feel most comfortable, and simply observe. If you need to leave early, that is absolutely fine, too. Whether you want to share a warm hello or prefer to slip in and out unnoticed, you are entirely welcome here. You get to engage at whatever pace feels right to you.
Children are a beautiful part of our church family, and we love having them in worship with us.
We don't have a separate children's program at the moment, so kids get to stay right alongside their families during the service. We know that young ones naturally have a lot of energy and love to explore, and we embrace that! If your child needs a little break or wants to move around during the service, we have a dedicated, open space right at the back of the sanctuary designed just for that.
We offer the bread and juice as a symbol of Christ’s sacrifice to all people. You do not have to be a member of this congregation, or any other, to participate.
Yes, wholeheartedly. We believe that every single person is a beloved child of God, created with inherent dignity and worth.
We are proud to be a member of the Reconciling Ministries Network, and we are currently the only openly affirming congregation in Delta County. For us, being affirming isn't just about tolerance; it means actively celebrating and protecting the place of LGBTQ+ individuals in the full life and leadership of our church.
Your sexual orientation, gender identity, race, heritage, language, financial situation, political view, education, or unique abilities will never be a barrier here. None of these factors determine your place with us because you already belong.
No matter who you are, who you love, or where you find yourself on life's journey, you are welcomed, safe, and loved exactly as you are.
